Privacy

What we collect

• Your space's content — the text, emoji, or image you choose to leave, and the optional display name you enter.
• Coarse location — when you claim a space, we derive your country and approximate city from your IP address. We use it for country-level statistics and to open the map near you. We never collect or store your precise location.
• Email — collected by Stripe at checkout for your receipt and so you can prove ownership of your space.
• Payment records — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Analytics — we use Google Analytics to understand overall traffic and the X (Twitter) pixel to measure whether our posts bring visitors. Both set cookies and receive standard usage data, governed by their own privacy policies.

What's public

Your space's content, its number, its position on the map, the date it was claimed, your display name if you chose to enter one, and your country. That's the product: a public, permanent canvas.

What's never public

Your email, your payment identity, your IP address, and your precise location. Anonymous means anonymous — if you don't enter a name, your space shows “Anonymous” forever.

Who touches the data

Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and image storage), Vercel (hosting), and Google Analytics (traffic measurement). Nearby-place facts are looked up against Wikipedia from our servers — your IP is never sent to Wikipedia. We do not sell or share your personal data with anyone else.

Your rights

Email parth@brandboxai.app to access or delete personal data we hold about you (like your email or location record). Spaces are permanent by design, but if your space contains your own personal information you want gone, contact us and we'll work it out — the space stays claimed, its content can be removed.
