Terms of Service

The deal

One US dollar buys one space on the canvas. Once you finalize your space, it's yours: we will never resell its coordinates, never let anyone overwrite it, and we intend to keep the canvas publicly viewable for as long as this project exists. There are no subscriptions, no hidden fees, and no upsells.

Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Because a claimed space is permanent and can't be “returned,” all sales are final, except where a refund is required by law. If a payment is reversed or charged back, the claim it paid for may be voided and the space returned to availability.

Your content

What you leave on your space stays yours. By publishing it, you give us a worldwide, perpetual license to display it on the canvas, on your space's page, and in share images — that's what makes the product work. You promise you have the rights to whatever you upload.

What's not allowed

The spirit of this place is broad expression — funny, weird, emotional, critical, irreverent, and even dumb are all welcome. We only remove content that creates real legal or safety problems:

• child sexual abuse material
• credible threats of violence
• doxxing or someone else's sensitive personal information
• malware or malicious links
• fraud or impersonation presented as genuine
• content that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark
• anything else we are legally required to remove

If content must be removed, the space stays claimed forever — it's simply shown as removed. We never resell a removed space.

Humans only

This is a human-made corner of the internet. Automated or bulk purchasing is not allowed. We may rate-limit, require verification, or void claims that appear to be made by bots or scripts.

The honest fine print

We intend for this canvas to outlive us all, but we're a small operation and can't legally guarantee eternity. The service is provided “as is.” Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us — one dollar. We may update these terms; meaningful changes will be reflected on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which BrandBox LLC is organized.
